
D-Fenders Defeat Mad Ants

Fort Wayne, CA - The Los Angeles D-Fenders held off a late fourth quarter run by Fort Wayne to give them the 112-103 victory over the home team.
Michael Fey scored 15 points for the D-Fenders in the first quarter of play to give the D-Fenders a 32-28 lead. The D-Fenders led by as many as 22 points and would hold the lead until the final buzzer sounded.
The Mad Ants put together a last quarter desperation run and cut the lead to 6 points thanks to Oliver Lafayette's 16 fourth quarter points, but the D-Fenders would not let it get any closer.
Fey led the way for the D-Fenders and ended the game with 22 points. Dar Tucker and Ryan Forehan-Kelly contributed 21 and 20 points respectively.
The Mad Ants were led by Ron Howard who finished with 24 points. Lafayette added 22 points, while teammate Sean Sonderleiter chipped in with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
