Oklahoma City's White Re-Assigned To Tulsa 66ers

NEW YORK, March 4, 2010 - Oklahoma City Thunder second year forward D.J. White was re-assigned to the Tulsa 66ers, the Thunder's NBA D-League affiliate, it was announced today. White, who's re-assignment is the 27th of the 2009-10 NBA D-League season, joins Thunder teammates Byron Mullens and Kyler Weaver in Tulsa.

White has appeared in eight games for the Thunder this season, averaging 4.8 points and 1.9 rebounds in 9.1 minutes. He scored a season-high 12 points in a loss at the L.A. Lakers on Nov. 22. In his two-year career, White has appeared in 15 games for Oklahoma City, averaging 6.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 13.5 minutes.

White re-joins the 66ers following an assignment earlier this season, when he averaged 18.3 points, 11.2 rebounds and 39.0 minutes. In 12 career NBA D-League games, including six while on assignment during the 2008-09 season, White averaged 18.3 points, 9.2 rebounds and 35.0 minutes.

Selected in the first round (29th overall) of the 2008 NBA Draft by the Detroit Pistons, the Thunder acquired White as part of a Draft-day trade. A four-year contributor at Indiana University, White averaged 17.4 points and 10.3 rebounds during his senior season.
