EL SEGUNDO - The Los Angeles D-Fenders have acquired Jamario Moon, it was announced today.
Moon, a 6-8, 205-pound forward, originally joined the NBA after signing with Toronto in 2007 as an undrafted free agent. A four-year NBA veteran, Moon has appeared in 278 career games (157 starts) for the Raptors, Heat, Cavaliers and Clippers, averaging 6.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 22.8 minutes.
Prior to joining the NBA, Moon played in the NBA Development League for the Mobile Revelers (2001-2003), Huntsville Flight (2003-04), and Fort Worth Flyers (2005-06), averaging 5.0 points (34.3 3FG%) and 1.9 rebounds in a combined 59 career D-League games.
