
D.C. United Single Game Tickets Now on Sale

Washington, D.C. (March 1, 2005) - Single-game tickets for D.C. United home matches at RFK Stadium are now on sale, the team announced today. Single-game tickets begin at $16 for seating in the Spectator section, with tickets in the Mezzanine level available for $40. Individual game tickets are available at all TicketMaster outlets, by calling TicketMaster at (202) 432-SEAT and at dcunited.com.
"Given the recent construction at RFK Stadium, we are pleased with the way things are coming together," said Zack. "A host of upgrades will improve the experience of being at the facility, and the atmosphere will continue to be second-to-none, providing our championship team with a true advantage."
Tickets are also on sale for United's first round match-up with Harbor View FC of Jamaica in the first round of the 2005 CONCACAF Champions. The game will take place at the Maryland SoccerPlex next Wednesday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m.
The 2005 MLS season is highlighted by the edition of two expansion teams, as Club Deportivio Chivas USA and Real Salt Lake join the League for its tenth year. United will face Chivas USA in the season-opener on April 2 in Los Angeles, before returning to D.C. for the home-opener versus the Chicago Fire on Saturday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. Both Real Salt Lake and Chivas USA will visit RFK in their inaugural seasons, as Real travels to D.C. on Thursday, July 28 for a 7:30 p.m. game, while Chivas USA will be in town on Saturday, August 13 for a 4:00 p.m. game. Both games will be shown on ESPN2.
In addition to standard seating options, there are also club, field and private box seating possibilities. Fans are encouraged to contact D.C. United directly to learn more about all special seating options.
United for D.C., the charitable arm of D.C. United, continues its involvement in the Kicks for Kids program. Over 10,000 area youth are positively impacted through Kicks for Kids each year. Thanks to community-minded corporations that sponsor the program, non-profit beneficiaries that serve disadvantaged or at risk youth receive free game tickets, promotional items and meal vouchers at D.C. Also returning in 2005 is the United Kids program. Children under six years of age will receive a free full or half season ticket with the purchase of one adult full or half season ticket at regular price. Children ages 6-16 can receive a discount on a season ticket package with a corresponding adult purchase. All youth season ticket holders receive complimentary membership in the D.C. United Youth Fan Club.
