Washington, D.C. (June 23, 2009) - D.C. United players will be appearing at various community events this week. In an effort to promote growth of the beautiful game, United's Avery John, Milos Kocic, Anthony Peters, Brandon Barklage, Clyde Simms, Santino Quaranta and Thabiso Khumalo will all be appearing at area soccer events from June 24-29. Player: Milos Kocic What: D.C. United Academy When: Wednesday, June 24; 11-12:30 p.m. Where: Hagerstown Soccer Club Complex

Player: Anthony Peters What: Columbia Lighthouse for the Blind Summer Camp When: Thursday, June 25; 2-3:30 p.m. Where: Catholic University of America

Player: Brandon Barklage What: DC SCORES Summer Camp When: Thursday, June 25; 2:30-4 p.m. Where: Kelly Miller Middle School
