Denver Cutthroats John Griggs Named Oakley CHL Goaltender of the Week: The Denver Cutthroats and CHL announced John Griggs as the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week on Monday, March 3.

John stopped a total of 69 shots on goal during the two-game set against the Rapid City Rush at the Denver Coliseum on Saturday, March 1 and Sunday, March 2. Saturday night was the netminder's first game between the posts for the Cutthroats, where he stopped 35 of 35 shots on goal for his first shutout in his Central Hockey League career. Griggs joined the Denver Cutthroats roster on Wednesday, February 26, having recorded one game against his current team as a member of the Rapid City Rush earlier in the season. His record with the Cutthroats stands 2-0-0 with a .986 save percentage.

Saturday, March 8: NORCO Lacrosse LAX Day

Denver Cutthroats Forward Daniel Amesbury and select staff will attend the first ever NORCO Lacrosse LAX Day at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. Daniel and staff will hand out Denver Cutthroats memorabilia, ticket information and support the teams participating in that day's events from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Fan Appreciation Weekend

The Denver Cutthroats welcome fans to celebrate the 2013-14 season during Fan Appreciation Weekend on Friday, March 14, Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16 at the Denver Coliseum. Fans can enjoy exclusive Cutthroats merchandise, a pre-game pep rally, concourse activities and much more throughout the weekend.
