Cutters Win In Rain

Tonight's game was shortened due to rain, as the game was called in the bottom of the 8th inning after a 40 minute rain delay.

The Williamsport Crosscutters opened the contest with a six-run 1st inning. The most runs they have scored in a single inning this season.

Francisco Morales earned his first win of the season. Working five innings, allowing one run on two hits ad two walks while striking out one.

Matt Vierling extended his hitting streak to six games, finishing the night 3 for 5 with an RBI. It was his second-straight three-hit performance.

Brayan Gonzalez finished the night 2 for 3 with a double and a pair of runs batted in. In all six different Crosscutters finished with a multi-hit game.

Randy Alcantara recorded one out in the bottom of the 8th inning before the rains delayed the game. He earns his first save of the season.
