Curve and Fisher Cats Suspended Due to Rain

July 15, 2023 - Eastern League (EL)
Altoona Curve News Release

CURVE, Pa. - Altoona and New Hampshire were suspended in the bottom of the second inning on Saturday night at Delta Dental Stadium in New Hampshire.

The teams will pick up the game on Sunday beginning at 12:05 p.m. and play the game to its full nine innings and then play a seven-inning game to wrap up the three-game series.

Altoona trails the game 3-0 after Reiner Nunez knocked a three-run homer in the first inning off of Anthony Solometo. Solometo walked a pair and surrendered three hits in his outing before the teams were chased from the field with another pop-up thunderstorm. The game began after a 1:14 delay due to field conditions.

The Curve managed two hits in their two innings at the plate with singles from Matt Gorski and Tsung-Che Cheng.

Altoona and New Hampshire plan to pick up the suspended game on Sunday beginning at 12:05 p.m. Pre-game coverage gets underway at 11:50 a.m. on Talk Radio 98.5 WRTA and online at www.bit.ly/CurveRadioNet.

The Curve are proud to celebrate our 25th Anniversary season in 2023. For tickets or more information, visit AltoonaCurve.com, call 877.99.CURVE or stop by the PNG Field box office.
