FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI, OH -- Omar Cummings, who suffered a knee injury against Rochester last week, will be out for several weeks. The forward collided with the Rhinos' goalkeeper in the first half but exited the pitch under his own power.
"Omar is an important player to our organization, both on and off the field," said Head Coach John Harkes. "He has been tremendous for us in our inaugural year and we hope to see him healthy and back soon!"
The Orange and Blue will miss the presence of Cummings, who is third on the team with 11 points on three goals and five assists. Prior to Sunday's contest at New York Red Bulls II, Cummings had started in seven consecutive matches, scoring two goals and three assists in that stretch.
