SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - The Mississippi RiverKings (11-5-0) came back from three deficits Friday night as they battled to a 4-3 victory against the Hunstville Havoc (12-4-1) in a shootout at the Landers Center.

After a scoreless first period, the Havoc took a lead early on in the second period after a failed power play by the Havoc saw them still controlling the puck at the point and Stuart Stefan snapped one off the crossbar with traffic in front to beat Brad Barone.

The RiverKings' answer came in the middle of the period on a breakout that Moran delivered a tape-to-tape pass to Cullen Bradshaw who beat a defenseman in to the zone to get the shot by Adam Courchaine. Mike Moran had a chance to give the lead to the RiverKings on a penalty shot, but could not turn the opportunity in to a goal.

Five minutes in to the second period the Havoc took back the lead on a goal from Dylan Nowakowski unassisted on a wrap around goal that managed to get over the pad of Brad Barone. Cullen Bradshaw scored his second to tie the game up again on a pass from Mike Moran on the power play. A steal from Michael Piluso on a errant pass led to Huntsville fourth and final goal of the night. Joe Sova scored at another pivotal for the RiverKings coming down the slot to put in a Matt Harrington rebound to tie the game and force overtime.

The overtime would see plenty of opportunities but no goals scored from either side forcing a shootout. Michael Piluso, Zach Carriveau and Dylan Nowakowski all would be denied by Brad Barone on their opportunities before Mike Moran would score the only goal of the shootout giving the RiverKings the win 4-3.

Brad Barone (5-3-0) earned the win for the RiverKings stopping 29 shots on 32 attempts and Adam Courchaine (6-2-1) gets the loss stopping 30 shots on 33 attempts.

The RiverKings head to Macon and look for revenge against the Macon Mayhem with puck drop scheduled at 6:35 p.m.

Foward Dustin plays the puck in the RiverKings win 4-3 on Friday.
