
CT Tigers Homestand Preview June 23-27

Norwich, CT - The CT Tigers start a five-game homestand beginning with a three-game series against the Tri-City ValleyCats (June 23-25, Rays). The Tigers wrap up their homestand with a two-game series against the Vermont Lake Monsters (June 26-27, Athletics).
Starting with "Sunday Funday" presented by Ben & Jerry's, ROXY FM 100.9, & Falvey's on Sunday, June 23 at 4:05 p.m. Following the game all kids are invited to Run the Bases and receive a coupon for a free ice cream from Ben & Jerry's. After the game the kids can have a catch in the outfield presented by ROXY and Falvey's. It's also Matt Shaughnessy Bobblehead giveaway. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a bobblehead courtesy of Savings Institute Bank & Trust. Shaughnessy is a member of the Arizona Cardinals football team and a Norwich Free Academy graduate.
Every Monday game "Kid's Eat Free". Each child ticket (12 & under) will receive a voucher redeemable for a hot dog, bag of chips, bottle water, and an apple sponsored by US Foods and The Day. It will also be the first Social Media Monday. Check out the Tigers Facebook and Twitter pages on Monday gamedays for an exclusive deal presented by XtraMart.
The series between the Tigers and ValleyCats comes to a close on Tuesday, June 25 at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday is "Dollar Dogs" day. Each hot dog is $1 presented by Kayem. It's also "Tuesday Night Senior Night" courtesy of Pierce Care: Independent, Assisted, Nursing, and Rehab Care. Each Senior Citizen (60+) ticket purchased at the Dodd Stadium box office or over the phone is 50% off and comes with a voucher redeemable for a free bottled Pepsi product.
The Tigers start a two-game series with the Vermont Lake Monsters on Wednesday, June 26 at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday is Family Four Pack Night. Purchase four reserved tickets, four hot dogs, four sodas, and a bag of popcorn for just $40 (a $63 value). There is also a pre-game blood drive presented by American Red Cross.
On Thursday, June 27 the series between the Tigers and Lake Monsters wraps up at 7:05 p.m. It's Thirsty Thursday. Gates open at 5 p.m. for a special pre-game Happy Hour at The Hole in the Wall Bar located on the first base concourse featuring live music and drink specials.
The Connecticut Tigers are the Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers and play in the New York-Penn League. The Tigers are in their 4th season at Dodd Stadium. Tickets are now on sale!
