
Crusher's Kids Concerts in the Park Series Begins Tomorrow

PORTLAND, ME - The Crusher's Kids Concert Series will return for its second season, with the first of five free events geared towards children to be held this Thursday in Deering Oaks Park. The series is organized by the City of Portland Recreation Department and is co-sponsored by Quirk Chevrolet and the Maine Red Claws.
Each event is approximately one hour long and is appropriate for children of all ages. The 2012 series will kick off this Thursday at 12:30 PM with a popular returning act, Sparks Ark.

This is the second season for the Crusher's Kids Concert Series, reviving a long-standing Portland tradition of free kids' summer entertainment in Deering Oaks that had been eliminated from the city budget and had lapsed for several summers. The Red Claws and Quirk Chevrolet joined with the City of Portland in 2011 to bring the popular kids series back.
