Crush-Soul game moved to Saturday night

The Week 13 game between the Colorado Crush and Philadelphia Soul at Pepsi Center has been rescheduled from Sunday, May 2 at 1 p.m. MT to Saturday, May 1 at 7 p.m. MT. The move was made to accommodate a possible conflict with the NBA Playoff series between the Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves.

Tickets for the Crush-Soul game dated May 2 will be valid for the rescheduled date of Saturday, May 1. For more information please call (303) 352-1000.

WHEN: Saturday, May 1 at 7:00 p.m. MT

WHERE: Pepsi Center

At 8-4, the Crush is currently leading the Central Division, holding the third seed, and would host an opening round game if the playoffs began today. The 5-6 Soul are coming off a dramatic last-second win over New York and are fighting for their playoff lives.

This will be the second meeting this season and the second meeting ever between the Crush and Soul. The Crush won the first meeting, 40-33, in Philadelphia during Week 7 (3/21/04). Rashad Floyd intercepted two passes to earn Defensive Player of the Game, and Damian Harrell made 9 catches for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns to garner Offensive Player of the Game honors. The game was televised by NBC and billed as the first ever Rock vs. Jock game as Crush owner John Elway and Soul owner Jon Bon Jovi's teams squared off.

This promises to be an afternoon to remember so don't miss your chance to see Rock vs. Jock Part II.
