Crush head to Austin to continue training
February 19, 2007 - Arena Football League (1987-2008) (AFL I)
Colorado Crush News Release
DENVER - The Colorado Crush will head south this week when they travel to Austin, Texas for a two-day practice session against the Wranglers from Thursday, February 22nd through Friday, February 23rd. The Wranglers are led by first-year head coach and former Crush offensive coordinator Brian Partlow. The combined practices will allow both teams to better prepare for the season since the AFL has no preseason contests.
"These practices against Austin will give us a good indication of where we are at as a team at this stage of training camp," explained Head Coach Mike Dailey. "I know the guys are looking forward to seeing someone else besides their teammates on the other side of the line and we look to gain a lot from these sessions."
The Crush conduct all their 2007 training camp practices at Five Star Stadium in Thornton. If the weather is not conducive to practicing outdoors, the team will hold practices at the South Suburban Family Sports Dome.
