
Crush activate stukes

DENVER, Colo. -- The Colorado Crush have activated wide receiver/defensive back Dwayne Stukes from the injured list, it was announced today.
Stukes was placed on the injured list on January 31 with a strained left quadricep and missed the first three games of the season. Per league rules, a player placed on the injured list must miss a minimum of two games before he can be activated.
The 5-11, 195 lb. WR/DB out of the University of Virginia, was originally signed by the Indiana Firebirds before his rights were acquired by the Crush but has yet to appear in an AFL game. He spent the 2002 and 2003 seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL.
The Crush active roster now stands at the league minimum 20 players.
