"Jon is a player we wanted to bring back as he is an important piece for the organization," said Ducks Senior Vice President of Hockey Operations, David McNab.

"I'm pumped to be back with a great organization like Syracuse and excited to have a fresh start with the Anaheim Ducks," said Mirasty. "The Crunch have the best fans in the AHL and I appreciate all the support I have received from them. A big part of my heart is in Syracuse."

Mirasty, 28, will return to Syracuse for his fourth season in 2010-11. Since 2007-08, he has appeared in 166 games with the Crunch, compiling one goal, six assists and 677 penalty minutes. A native of Flying Dust First Nation, Saskatchewan, Mirasty was originally signed by the Crunch to a professional tryout contract on October 4, 2007.
