Crunch Reschedule Quickway Ice Girl Auditions

Syracuse, NY (August 30, 2007) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the open auditions for the Quickway Ice Girls have been rescheduled for Tuesday, September 25 from 4-7 p.m. at the War Memorial at Oncenter. They were originally scheduled for Thursday, September 6.

The Quickway Ice Girls are the official promotional team of the Syracuse Crunch.

Applicants should come prepared with their own music and a one minute routine that demonstrates their dancing and gymnastic abilities. Applicants able to skate will need to come any time from 4-5:30 pm. The Quickway Ice Girls will be part of several on-ice promotions, so skating ability is extremely beneficial.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to audition. Interested applicants must wear a two-piece dance outfit in good taste and sneakers or dance shoes. No jewelry except engagement/wedding rings are to be worn. Make-up and hair must be performance ready.

There is a $25 pre-registration fee for the audition. At the door, there will be a $35 fee. In order to pre-register, please contact Stephanie Sauda at (315) 473-4444. Photo identification must be presented in order to participate.

The Crunch seek enthusiastic and friendly girls to make up this year's Quickway Ice Girls, as they play a key role in enhancing the experience of Crunch home games by assisting with on and off-ice promotions and interaction with the fans.
