SYRACUSE, N.Y. - After giving up the first two goals, the Syracuse Crunch rallied back with five unanswered goals in a 6-3 victory over the Cleveland Monsters tonight at the War Memorial Arena.

Sam Vigneault and Maxime Fortier earned the secondary assists. At the 15:50 mark, Vitaly Abramov got the puck from Ryan MacInnis behind the net and circled around to beat Ingram from the slot.

Syracuse stole one back less than a minute later while on the man-advantage. Cory Conacher sent a feed for Gaunce to fire home from the top of the right circle. Jan Rutta recorded the secondary helper.

Syracuse tallied their fifth unanswered goal 6:54 into the final frame to go up, 5-2. Foote threw a perfect cross-zone pass from the right wing for Verhaeghe to grab at the far post, stickhandle across the slot and backhand into an open net. Ben Thomas tallied a point on the play.

Cleveland came back within two at the 9:57 mark when Koules netted his second of the night from the bottom of the right circle.
