CLEVELAND, OHIO -- Midfielder Bill Sedgewick began his second season with Rochester Rhinos of the A-League in great fashion last Saturday as he scored the game winning goal in overtime over the Pittsburgh Riverhounds and fellow Crunch teammate David Flavius.
The 11,031 fans at the Rhinos home opener witnessed Sedgewick score the winning goal in the 94th minute of play. Rookie Jamal Ballantyne flicked a Carlos Zavala ball to Sedgewick, who one-timed the ball into the back of the Pittsburgh net.
To Date, Sedgewick has played in only one game this season for the Rochester and has scored just the lone goal in 39 minutes of action.
This season for the Crunch, Sedgewick played in 39 of 44 games and recorded 20 goals, 13 assists, 56 points and 50 blocks.
