(Westport, Conn., May 7, 2002) – Kansas City Comets forward Dino Delevski headlines a group named to the 2001-02 All-MISL Teams, which were announced by the Major Indoor Soccer League on Tuesday. Delevski, who led the MISL in scoring during the 2001-02 campaign with 210 points, was the lone unanimous selection to the squads in balloting of MISL team executives and a panel of media members from each of the League's host cities.

Voters were asked to select two complete teams of All-MISL players. Each voter was asked to choose one goalkeeper, two defenders, and three forward/midfielders for each squad. A first-team vote was worth two points and a second-team vote was worth one point.

Delevski, 25, received a total of 52 points. Cleveland forward and the League's all-time scoring leader Hector Marinaro (2,255 points) as well as Milwaukee's Joe Reiniger join the Comets star at the forward position for the All-MISL First Team. Marinaro, who is making a record 10th All-League appearance, received 49 points while Reiniger, who finished fourth in scoring with 131 points, accumulated 46 points in earning his seventh All-League appointment.

Baltimore's Sean Bowers and Philadelphia's Pat Morris are the two First Team defenders. Bowers, who was named the 2001-02 MISL Defender of the Year on May 2, received 37 points while Morris, who finished second to Bowers in the Defender of the Year voting, acquired 24 votes. Bowers is making his fifth All-League appearance while Morris is enjoying his inaugural All-League selection.

Milwaukee's Victor Nogueira, who was named the 2001-02 MISL Goalkeeper of the Year on April 24, is making his ninth overall and eighth First Team All-League appearance after posting 38 points in goalkeeper voting.

Philadelphia goalkeeper Peter Pappas and Baltimore midfielder Denison Cabral headline the All-MISL Second Team. Pappas finished second to Nogueira in the Goalkeeper of the Year balloting after posting a 23-win season while Cabral received 26 points after leading the MISL in power play goals (11) and finishing third in scoring (133 points).

Milwaukee defender Troy Dusosky and Wave forward Brian Loftin as well as Harrisburg forward David Bascome and Heat defender Nick Corneli join Pappas and Cabral on the second team. Corneli, Dusosky, and Loftin are each first-time selections while Bascome is making his second appearance on an All-League squad.

Dusosky finished the 2001-02 campaign with 47 points and 65 blocks while Corneli registered career highs in both goals (24) and points (67). Loftin also enjoyed a career-year, finishing tied for eighth in MISL scoring with 102 points while Bascome led Harrisburg on offense and ranked 16th in League scoring with 88 points, despite playing in just 36 games.
