Syracuse Crunch News Release
Syracuse, NY- JT Wyman scored a hat trick as the Syracuse Crunch dominated the Binghamton Senators 7-1 tonight at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

The Crunch got off to a fast start with goals from Brett Connolly, Wyman and Alex Hutchings giving Syracuse a 4-0 cushion at the end of the first period.
Connolly opened the scoring with a power-play goal 3:51 into the first period. Dana Tyrell fed Connolly the puck from the side boards before Connolly ripped a shot from the slot past Senators goaltender Robin Lehner.
Syracuse went up 2-0 at the 5:36 mark after Gudas collected his own rebound of a wrap-around attempt and shoveled the puck into the crease where Wyman jammed the puck into the net. Less than three minutes later Hutchings converted a wrap-around shot to put the Crunch up 3-0 with 11:48 to play in the opening period.
Wyman scored his second goal of the night on a shorthanded shot from just inside the blueline at the 11:03 mark of the first.
PC Labrie gave the Crunch a 5-0 lead when his centering pass deflected past Lehner at the 12:55 mark of the second.
Senators left wing Shane Prince got Binghamton on the board with a power-play goal with 3:42 to play in the second period. Pat Cannone found Prince with a cross-crease feed that Prince placed past Helenius.
