Crunch Announce Details of 'Drinking and Driving Shatters Lives' Awareness Night

Syracuse, NY (December 16, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch, along with the Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board, announced today the details of 'Drinking and Driving Shatters Lives' Awareness Night, set for this Saturday December 18 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

The first 2,500 fans in attendance at the Crunch's Saturday, December 18 game vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will receive a can koozie with the Crunch's logo and the 'Drinking and Driving Shatters Lives' logo, courtesy of the Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board.

The Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board will also have a table set up on the concourse of The Oncenter War Memorial Arena where fans can enter to win an autographed stick. In addition, t-shirts that feature a Crunch logo will be tossed into the stands during a stoppage in play at the game.

The Onondaga County Traffic Safety Advisory Board, which is headquartered at 6315 Fly Road in East Syracuse, has a mission to foster cooperation and partnerships between all involved agencies, including law enforcement and community members, who have a vested interest in the education and enforcement of traffic safety within Onondaga County.

The Crunch travel to Binghamton to take on the Senators on Friday, December 17 at 7:15 p.m. Syracuse returns home to The Oncenter War Memorial Arena on Saturday, December 18 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at 7:30 p.m. Season and single-game tickets for the 2010-11 season are on sale now and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473- 4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office in The Oncenter War Memorial Arena, located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
