
Crosscutters Announce 2016 Game Schedule

Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
The 2015 Pinckney Division champion Williamsport Crosscutters, Class-A Short Season affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies, have announced the schedule for their 2016 season. The 76-game schedule will include 38 home games against nine different New York-Penn League opponents at Susquehanna Bank Park.
The Crosscutters open the season at home against the rival State College Spikes on Friday, June 17. The season concludes with a September 5 (Labor Day) home game with State College.
Teams visiting Susquehanna Bank Park in 2016 include the defending NYPL champion West Virginia Black Bears (Pittsburgh Pirates) on July 17-19, the Staten Island Yankees (NY Yankees) on August 3-5 and the Brooklyn Cyclones (NY Mets) on August 26-28.
Game times remain the same as in previous seasons with all Monday-Saturday home contests starting at 7:05pm and Sunday home games starting at 5:05pm. The only exception is a 1:05pm game time for the season finale on September 5.
Once again, all Cutters games, home and away, will be broadcast on ESPN 1050AM & 104.1FM plus affiliates on the Crosscutters Radio Network. Broadcasts will also be streamed online at crosscutters.com.
The club's preliminary promotional schedule will be announced at a later date.
