
Crew Juniors Secures Partnership with City of Reynoldsburg

COLUMBUS - The Columbus Crew today announced that Crew Juniors has partnered with the City of Reynoldsburg to operate and administer its recreational soccer programming.Further terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Under the agreement, participants are set to benefit by receiving opportunities to learn under professional coaching, undertaking new, exciting programming uniquely offered by the Columbus Crew and receiving official Crew recreational uniform kits.
"We are very excited to welcome the City of Reynoldsburg into our Crew Juniors family," said Andrew Arthurs, Senior VP of Soccer Business Development and Crew Juniors Executive Director. "We all strongly believe that this is a great opportunity to bring the community together from a soccer perspective.The Crew Juniors Recreational Program will provide a fun, positive environment where we can help players, coaches and families learn the sport of soccer. As those players develop and are ready for higher levels, they will be part of a model that doesn't have ceilings."
The City of Reynoldsburg's recreational soccer program has on average hosted 300 area children per season.
"The City of Reynoldsburg, along with the Department of Parks and Recreation, is very excited to enhance our youth soccer offerings and programs," said Joe Brown, Reynoldsburg's Parks and Recreation Director. "We feel confident that the Crew Juniors will add a new element to the sport that will be a win-win for our kids and community. Our department has been working alongside the Crew Juniors for almost two years and again we are excited about this next step."
