Crespo Named Team Captain

(Green Bay, WI) - The Green Bay Gamblers announced on Tuesday that defenseman Jarod Crespo has been named team captain. Last season, Crespo appeared in 35 games with the Gamblers notching three goals and five assists. The Eastampton, New Jersey native also saw limited time in the Gamblers line-up in 2019-20 and 2018-19, appearing in five and two games respectively.
Defensemen Damien Carfagna and Owen Murray and forward Alex Servagno were named assistant captains. Carfagna, who was named to the 2020-21 USHL All Academic Team and Murray are in their second year with the Gamblers and Servagno his third.
The home opener for the 28th season of Gamblers hockey is Saturday, October 2. Bring a new Teddy Bear and after the Gamblers first goal toss it on the ice. Come early for the Opening Night Party in front of the Resch Center. Party starts at 4:00 PM, puck drops at 7:05 PM.
