(Saginaw, MI) The Saginaw Spirit hockey club has named two defenseman as this week's Covenant HealthCare Players of the Week - Nick Crawford earned the offensive honors and T.J. Brodie the defensive honors.
Defenseman Nick Crawford tallied 2 goals and 1 assists last weekend. His two goals helped push Saginaw's game against London into overtime, giving the team a point in the contest. The Caledon, Ontario native has tallied 2 goals and 8 assists in 26 games this season.
Defenseman T.J. Brodie helped the Saginaw defense and goalie Ryan Daniels shutout the league best Kitchener Rangers Saturday night. The Dresden, Ontario native has tallied 10 assists on the season in 26 games.
