Crawdads Hit Three Homers in Loss

Hickory, NC - The Hickory Crawdads dropped Friday's contest against the Kannapolis Intimidators 6-4.

The Intimidators got four runs across in the top of the second inning off 'Dads starter Jean Casanova.

The Crawdads cut the deficient to two runs in the third as Curtis Terry hit a two-run homer to left field. The homerun was Terry's second of the season. He currently leads the South Atlantic League with 11 RBIs.

In the bottom of the seventh inning, the Crawdads tied things up with back-to-back homeruns by Pedro Gonzalez and Jonathan Ornelas to deep left field.

Kannapolis retook the lead in the ninth inning with a pair of runs. The two runs were the first given up on the season for 'Dads reliever Grant Anderson.

Tomorrow evening at the Frans is Texas Rangers night. Following the game, the 'Dads will shoot off fireworks presented by the Prysmian Group and KICKS 103.3. The night will also feature a poster schedule giveaway courtesy of Try Something Wild, Dan'l Boone Inn, Lake Hickory Vet, Hickory Printing Solutions and Big Dawg 92.1.
