
Cracker-Cats Announce Training Camp Schedule

(Edmonton, AB) â The Edmonton Cracker-Cats announced today the details for their inaugural training camp.
Camp will open on Saturday, May 7th. The âCats will have an abbreviated workout from approximately 12:30 to 2 PM. Registration for the open tryout will begin at 2 PM and once participants have completed registration, they will be able to take the field. After Saturday, the next five days of camp will take place at John Fry Park (9700-28th Ave). The move to John Fry was necessitated by the ongoing work to complete the turf installation at TELUS Field.
Camp schedules at John Fry Park are as follows:
· Sunday, May 8th â 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM
· Monday, May 9th â 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM
· Tuesday, May 10th â 11:30 AM - 3:00 PM
· Wednesday, May 11th â 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM
· Thursday, May 12th â 10:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Media and spectators are welcome to attend, but please note all dates and times are subject to change.
Additionally, three exhibition games have been scheduled to take place in Calgary where the Cracker-Cats will take on the Vipers. Game times are as follows:
· Friday, May 13th - 7:05 PM
· Saturday, May 14th - 1:35 PM
· Sunday, May 15th - 1:35 PM
Camp schedules for May 16th to 18th are to be determined.
The Cracker-Cats open the season on May 20th, at Kansas City. The home opener will take place on May 27th, when the Cracker-Cats host the Sioux Falls Canaries.
