Green Bay, Wis.- Sizzling Bullfrogs bats carry a team that started its first winning streak with a 10-7 victory against Battle Creek on Sunday afternoon. Luke Crabb (VCU) (0-1/1.92ERA/4 2/3 IP) goes against the Bombers' Cameron Ming (Arizona) (1-0/6.00ERA/6IP).

The first pitch for "Star Wars Night" is 6:35 PM from Joannes Stadium. Kids 12 and under adorned in a costume get a free ticket.

Crabb is tough. He throws a sinking fastball, cutter, changeup, and slider that all take on the side-armed delivery in which Crabb presents each pitch. For a guy that only throws in the mid-80s, at most, he struck out 100 batters in 87 2/3 innings of work at Dodge City C.C. in 2015.

Bullfrogs pitchers will face off against a Battle Creek team that crept back into the first matchup of the series after Battle Creek starter, Layne Bruner (Washington State), lasted just two innings and surrendered four runs and four walks.

Battle Creek's Bombers erased a four-run deficit, and tied the game mid-way through the seventh inning at five runs apiece. But for the second consecutive night, an unabashedly aggressive and power-driven Bullfrogs offense gave Green Bay the win. The "Coach's Player of the Night," Franco Guardascione (Jacksonville), drove home four runs on two doubles as the Bullfrogs scored double-digits for the third time this season.

A more consistent brand of success may be attributed to a revision of the starting lineup. Green Bay added Connor Ross (Ft. Hays State) who homered yesterday, Desi Ammons (C/Belmont), and Ty Blankmeyer (SS/2B/St. John's) all within the span of two games. Defensively, the infield has also altered. Matt De La Rosa (INF/Lenoir Rhyne) went from third to first on Sunday, as Jack Strunc (Washington State) showed off his athleticism at shortstop.

After outscoring opponents 18-10 over the past two games, the Bullfrogs are also 17-for-59 (.288) at the plate. The mark is well above their season team average of .235.

A win Monday evening would put the Bullfrogs record for the four-game home series at 3-1, and move their mark at Joannes Stadium to 4-4. The Bullfrogs trail the Kenosha Kingfish by 2.5 games for first place in the South Division.

Single game tickets are on sale now. Visit www.greenbaybullfrogs.com to purchase tickets. The Bullfrogs' business hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
