Coyotes to Unveil New Name & Logo for AHL Affiliate in Tucson at Open House Event at TCC June 18

GLENDALE, ARIZONA - The Arizona Coyotes announced today that the team will unveil the new name and logo for the Club's AHL affiliate in Tucson at an Open House event on Saturday, June 18 at 12:30 p.m. at the Tucson Convention Center (TCC). Jody Jackson from FOX Sports Arizona will serve as the emcee for the unveiling. The event will be open to the public and admission is free. The Coyotes will also hold a Select-A-Seat event by appointment only for depositors from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and for the general public from 1-2 p.m.

Fans attending the Open House can take a shot against an NHL goalie at the virtual slapshot experience, interact with Howler and members of the Paw Patrol, and kids 12 and under can play ball hockey on the event floor. This event will also allow fans to secure Full Season Ticket Memberships for next season and select the best available seat locations for the 2016-17 AHL season at the Tucson Convention Center Arena.

On May 17, the Coyotes launched a "Name the Team" contest for the Club's AHL affiliate in Tucson. Fans submitted names for the team on the Coyotes' website, www.arizonacoyotes.com/nameourAHLteam. The contest ran through May 31. The Coyotes will announce the winner of the contest at the Open House event on June 18. One lucky fan will win two (2) season tickets for the Tucson team's 2016-17 AHL regular season, a Tucson team jersey and a 12-person suite to a 2016-17 Arizona Coyotes regular season home game.
