
Coyotes to hold open tryout

Central Valley Coyotes News Release
FRESNO -- The Central Valley Coyotes of the arenafootball2 league will hold their last of their three free agent tryout camps. The camp will be held on Sunday, Feb. 27 at Fresno City College on the practice field.
The daylong session will begin with registration at 9 a.m.
Coyote head coach Fred Biletnikoff Jr. and his staff will be on hand to evaluate players.
Fresno City College is located at 1101 E. University Avenue, Fresno, Calif. 93741.
The tryout will be conducted on natural grass. Therefore, each participant should be mindful of wearing the proper shoes. A $40 registration fee will be charged and a waiver release form will need to be signed during registration.
Pre-registration is highly recommended and those that do will save five dollars off the registration fee. Prospective players should provide: name, height, weight, position, playing experience, telephone number and address, and mail a $35 check or money order to: Central Valley Coyotes, 970 Van Ness Ave., Fresno, Calif. 93721.
In addition, please send any player biographies and/or game film to Coyote coach Fred Biletnikoff Jr. at the above address. Registration forms can also be picked up at the Coyotes office.
The Coyotes will kick off their 2005 af2 season with an exhibition game at Selland Arena on March 27. Training camp will open on March 9. Fifty dollar deposits for 2005 Coyote season tickets, which include all nine games played at Selland Arena, are now being accepted at 559-263-9780.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
-- You are only considered pre-registered after the team has received $40 fee
-- Checks will not be accepted on day of tryout
-- We do not have any hotel arrangements at this time
-- Registration will begin at 9 a.m. and close at 10 a.m. sharp
-- There is no full contact and therefore no need for shoulder pads
-- Only water will be provided
-- A Coyote trainer will be on hand for emergencies, but not for player taping
-- There are no refunds for missed workouts
-- Testing will be conducted in bench, short shuttle and 40
-- Kickers will be tested for accuracy, distance and hang time
-- Tryout will last four to six hours
