Coyotes Sign Pederson to Entry-Level Contract

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have signed free agent center Lane Pederson to an entry-level contract. As per club policy, terms of the contract were not disclosed.

The 19-year-old native of Saskatoon, SK has recorded 2-7-9 with two penalty minutes (PIM) and a plus-4 rating in seven games with the Swift Current Broncos (WHL) to begin the 2016-17 campaign. Last season, the 6-foot-0, 190-pound Pederson registered 20-35-55 with 48 PIM in 72 games with the Red Deer Rebels and Swift Current.

Pederson attended the Coyotes rookie camp this season.
