Amerks Send Five to Elmira

Rochester, NY - The Rochester Americans announced today that the team has reassigned forwards Kyle Rankin and Matthew Zay, defensemen Davis Vandane and Benjamin Dieude-Fauvel and goaltender John Muse to the Elmira Jackals of the ECHL.

The Amerks roster now stands at 23 skaters and two goaltenders:

Goaltenders (2): Jason Kasdorf and Linus Ullmark

Defensemen (8): Brady Austin, Mac Bennett, Erik Burgdoerfer, Justin Falk, Taylor Fedun, Paul Geiger, Brycen Martin and Tyson Strachan.

Forwards (15): Justin Bailey, Nick Baptiste, William Carrier, Dan Catenacci, Eric Cornel, Jean Dupuy, Tyson Fawcett, Vaclav Karabacek, Justin Kea, Matthew Lane, Daniel Muzito-Bagenda, Alexander Nylander, Cal O'Reilly, Evan Rodrigues and Cole Schneider.

The 2016-17 regular season begins Friday, Oct. 14 when the Amerks host the Hershey Bears at The Blue Cross Arena at 7:05 p.m. Season Ticket Memberships, which start as low as just $10 per game, are on-sale now. The Amerks are also offering a variety of partial plans, including Half-Season Memberships and Flex Season Memberships with vouchers good for best available seat to any home game.
