
Coyotes and Susan G. Komen for the Cure Team Up For Breast Cancer Awareness

(Fresno, Calif.) - Over twenty five years ago Nancy G. Brinker made a promise to her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, that she wound do anything she could to put an end to breast cancer forever. In 1982 Brinker made good on her promise as she founded "Susan G. Komen for the Cure". Now, this Saturday May 12th, the Central Valley Coyotes are pleased to announce their partnership with the "Susan G. Komen for the Cure" as they join the world's largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists.
The Coyotes (2-3) will host the Boise Burn (4-1) in the first ever meeting between the two franchises. Proceeds from each ticket purchased from the "Susan G. Komen for the Cure" link on the home page of www.centralvalleycoyotes.com will be donated to support Ms. Brinker's promise. The Coyotes will also donate proceeds from selected merchandise sold during the game this Saturday night to help the movement to fight against breast cancer.
Joining the fun and helping support "Susan G. Komen for the Cure" on Saturday night will be local business "Essentials" as they have donated several Brighton "Power of Pink" bracelets that will be raffled and auctioned off at the game with 100% of the proceeds going towards the fight against breast cancer. Also, radio station "Sexy 106.3" will honor the first 150 mothers to enter Selland Arena with a pink carnation help celebrate Mother's Day weekend.
Don't miss the family fun this Saturday May 12th as the Coyotes look to support the global fight against breast cancer and honor the mothers of the Central Valley this Mother's Day Weekend. Oh yea, and there just happens to be an arena football game being played!
