
Covington Heads to Rome from Danville

Rome, GA - Rome Braves pitcher Nicholas Tisone has been called to Myrtle Beach of the Carolina League and right-hander Marcus Covington returns to Rome from Danville of the Appalachian League. Tisone was 1-3 in 14 appearances with 13 strikeouts and no walks with Rome. Covington was 1-1 with the Danville Braves in 13 appearances. When in Rome earlier in the season, Covington was 0-1 with a 1.35 ERA in three appearances. The Braves return to State Mutual Stadium tomorrow night at seven o'clock against the Columbus Catfish to open a four game home stand.
