Covert Named Presenting Sponsor of Rangers Exhibition

ROUND ROCK, Texas - Covert Hutto Chevrolet and Ford has been named presenting sponsor of the Round Rock Express exhibition game against the 2010 American League Champion Texas Rangers. The game is scheduled for 6:35 p.m. CDT, Wednesday, March 30, at The Dell Diamond.

"The Ryan family and the Covert family are a natural fit," Covert Hutto Chevrolet and Ford General Manager Duane Lebens said. "We are excited about being the presenting sponsor for the Rangers exhibition game, and we look forward to a long-term partnership with the Round Rock Express. We have always said that Covert Hutto is just a long home run from The Dell Diamond."

Covert Hutto, which moved to its new location in 2001, is located east of Round Rock on U.S. Highway 79. It is the only dealership in Central Texas that carries both Chevrolet and Ford new-model vehicles on the same lot.

"We are pleased to announce Covert's involvement in what will be another memorable night at The Dell Diamond," Express General Manager George King said. "Duane and his staff are helping us introduce our new affiliation with the Rangers and kick off an exciting new era for Express baseball."

Tickets for the exhibition game go on sale to the general public Saturday, March 5, at The Dell Diamond ticket office and online at www.RoundRockExpress.com. Tickets may be purchased via phone starting Monday, March 7. The Express open their 2011 regular season with four-game series against the Iowa Cubs (April 7-10) and Omaha Storm Chasers (April 11-14).
