Robbie Coursel kept the Torrington Titans (19-21) off the board during his 7 2/3 innings of work and the Brockton Rox (27-15) beat the Torrington Titans, 3-0.
Coursel struck out seven and allowed five walks and four hits.
JD Andreessen led the Brockton Rox's offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He singled in the second inning.
John Russell (2-2) took the loss for the Torrington Titans. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out 11, and allowed three runs.
