Silver Knights Teaming up with Nashua PAL and Nashua Firefighters Local 789

July 27, 2015 - Futures Collegiate Baseball League (FCBL)
Nashua Silver Knights News Release

On August 6th, the Nashua Silver Knights will be hosting a double header in advance of Bruins Night at Holman Stadium. Beginning at 530pm, members of the Nashua Police Department will be take on members of Nashua Fire Rescue in the 2nd Annual Police and Fire Summer Classic.  Following the police and fire game, the Nashua Silver Knights will take on the Martha's Vineyard Sharks in the night cap. During both games Bruins play-by-play man Jack Edwards will be in attendance to sign autographs and greet the fans.

In a passionate hockey town like Nashua, Bruins Night is traditionally well attended. As a result the Nashua Silver Knights will donate a portion of all tickets sales to support two outstanding organizations dedicated to helping children; the Nashua Police Athletic League and Operation Warm.

The Patrolman of the Nashua Police Department will be representing Nashua PAL, a non-profit organization which provides after school programing, activities and mentoring to at-risk youths. The firefighters of NFR will be playing for Operation Warm, a nationwide initiative founded by unifying firefighters unions which provides winter jackets to local children in need.

The Silver Knights recognize their social responsibility to the citizens of Nashua, and are dedicated to helping to improve the lives of the children of the city. We are proud to partner with Nashua's two great civic institutions to help at-risk and needy children - well after baseball season ends.

For tickets to the event, please contact the Silver Knights ticket office at 603-718-8883 or by visiting www.nashuasilverknights.com.
