Kalamazoo Wings News Release
After a hard-hitting contest last night in Game One of the Best of Seven Round One Series, the Kalamazoo Wings and the Motor City Mechanics are ready to take the ice again. After falling behind 1-0 in the opening period, the K-Wings scored two unanswered goals to win last night's game 2-1.
Knowing that the series heads to The Garage tomorrow afternoon; the K-Wings would love nothing more than to win another game on Wings Stadium ice. Dating back to last season, the K-Wings will be looking to extend a two-game home playoff winning streak.
The Mechanics set the tone of last night's game with a lot of physical play. With their first playoff game in their franchise's history behind them, Motor City will be looking to duplicate their hard-hitting style of play in hopes to tie the series up at one-game apiece heading into tomorrow's game in Fraser.
