October 22, 2014 - Midwest League (MWL1)
Kane County Cougars News Release

GENEVA, Ill. - The Kane County Cougars have launched a commemorative legacy brick program as fans can purchase a custom brick etched with a special message, their name or the name of a family or friend. A great gift for any Cougars fan, the bricks will be permanently displayed outside Fifth Third Bank Ballpark as the focal point near the Gate 3 entrance beginning on Opening Day 2015. Offered in conjunction with the organization's 25th anniversary season in 2015, the special program is currently underway as fans can visit kccougars.com to receive additional information as well as download and print an order form.

Three brick sizes are available: 6"X6", 6"X12"and 12"X12" with prices starting at $100. A portion of proceeds from the legacy brick program will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. The Wounded Warrior Project helps raise awareness and enlist the public's aid for injured service members with unique programs and services to help meet their needs.

Orders must be submitted by March 1, 2015 to ensure brick placement by Opening Day. For more information, fans can visit kccougars.com or call (630) 232-8811.

In addition to the Cougars' legacy brick program, the Cougars announced a series of capital improvement projects in September that have been designed to further modernize Fifth Third Bank Ballpark for the 2015 season and beyond. These amenities include a new high-definition videoboard, batting cage, a premium seating area behind home plate on the ballpark's concourse level and a permanent music pavilion to be used for gameday and non-gameday events.

The Cougars' 25th anniversary season and first season as an affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks kicks off with Opening Night on Thursday, April 9 with a 6:30 p.m. game against Cedar Rapids.
