Cougars and Kernels Postponed

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa- Wednesday's game between the Kane County Cougars (18-7) and Cedar Rapids Kernels (13-11) was postponed and will be made up on Thursday as part of a double-header from Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The first of the two seven-inning contests will begin at 5:00 p.m. with a pitching matchup of Daury Torrez (3-0, 3.28) and Josue Montantez (0-0, 6.75).
Game Two will begin approximately 30 minutes after Game One's end and will feature Juan Paniagua (0-1, 5.17) on the mound for the Cougars against the Kernels' Kohl Stewart (1-1, 3.15). Both games can be heard on AM 1280 WBIG and kccougars.com.
