Geneva, IL - Set to go on sale with 2006 individual tickets on Saturday, November 19 at 9:00 a.m., starting today, the Kane County Cougars are allowing fans to pre-order tickets for the upcoming season on www.kccougars.com. Cougars 2006 season tickets and ticket packages are currently available for purchase. The Cougars swing into action at Elfstrom Stadium on Thursday, April 6 at 4:00 p.m. against the Swing of the Quad Cities (class A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals).
The Cougars first fireworks show of the season takes place on May 19, marking one of thirty explosive performances to hit the sky above Elfstrom Stadium in 2006. Beatles and Pirates will be invading Elfstrom Stadium next season, as British Export, a Beatles cover band, will take the stage following the Cougars' Sunday, July 16 game and a Jimmy Buffett cover band (TBD) will play on the field after the Sunday, August 6 game. On two additional occasions next year, Kane County fans can dance the night away to post-game concerts performed by local bands (TBD). Fan favorites, the ZOOperstars, BirdZerk, Myron Noodleman, Jake the Diamond Dog, the Jesse White Tumblers and skydivers have claimed spots in the 2006 schedule as have three holiday picnics, Military Appreciation Weekend and Bark in the Park.

On sale Saturday, November 19 at 9:00 a.m., individual ticket are available to fans at $12 for Field Box Seats, $10 for Box Seats, $9 for Reserved Seats and $8 for Lawn Seats. At that time, tickets can be purchased in person at the Elfstrom Stadium ticket windows located next to Gate #3. The Cougars will be serving refreshments, including coffee and juice along with a breakfast buffet for fans beginning at 8:00 a.m. Those looking to avoid long lines on Saturday morning can pre-order tickets as of today at the Cougars website (kccougars.com). Internet purchases made today or after will be processed beginning Monday, November 21 at 9:00 a.m. in the order they are received. Also, on Monday, the Cougars will begin accepting phone (630/232-8811), mail (34W002 Cherry Lane, Geneva, 60134) and fax (630/232-8815) ticket orders.
