
Cottonmouths Game Sold Out for Saturday, March 17

The Columbus Cottonmouths final regular-season home game, Saturday, March 17, has officially been sold out. Gates will open early at 6 p.m. This marks the third sell out in Cottonmouths history, with the first one coming on Dec. 27, 1996. The last time the Snake Pit sold out was Feb. 22, 1997.
The Snakes will host the Fayetteville Fire Antz Saturday in front of the sold-out crowd. The Cottonmouths currently hold a two-point lead atop the SPHL standings with 66 points, while the Fire Antz are right behind them with 64 points.
Following Saturday's game, the Snakes will take to the road for three games to close out the regular season before beginning their quest for another SPHL championship. The 2007 SPHL playoffs will begin the week of March 25. No playoff schedules have been finalized.
