Cottonmouths Announce Referral Program, Charitable Contributions for 2011-12 Season
May 14, 2012 - SPHL (SPHL)
Columbus Cottonmouths News Release
As the 2012 SPHL-champion Columbus Cottonmouths prepare to defend their title next season, they have kicked off their 2012-13 season ticket campaign and are turning to the local community for its continued support.
The Cottonmouths are pleased to announce a referral program to incentivize current season ticket holders who help us find new Snakes fans. With the referral program, one lucky season ticket holder will win a party for themselves, 20 guests and the Cottonmouths team at their house, or an alternate location if requested. The event will take place in October 2012, prior to next season, and will include a barbeque, chef and a grill that the season ticket holder will get to keep.
Season ticket holders who would like to send us a referral for someone who may be interested in season tickets can email the referral's name and phone number to seasonticketholder@cottonmouths.com with `referral' in the subject line. Season ticket holders will receive one entry into the drawing for each referral who signs a season ticket contract (minimum 10-flex plan starting at $118) by July 15. Newly-contracted season ticket holders through the referral program will also have the opportunity to send referrals for potential to win the party package.
The Cottonmouths are proud to announce they donated and raised approximately $80,000 in cash, tickets and non-monetary donations to organizations, schools and charities in the surrounding areas during the 2011-12 season. Over $26,000 was raised for the Children's Miracle Network through a dinner and silent auction co-sponsored by TIC Federal Credit Union, $18,000+ was donated in tickets to Fort Benning soldiers on Military Appreciation Night and close to $12,000 was donated to schools through our ticket-selling fundraiser.
