
Cotton Kings Release Rookies

Lubbock Cotton Kings News Release
LUBBOCK â The Lubbock Cotton Kings Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Kirk Tomlinson announced today the release of defenseman Rob Vessio and forward Nick Murray.
"Due to the trades that we have made, we needed to free up some room on the roster and unfortunately Ves (Vessio) and Nick (Murray) had to go," said Tomlinson.
The Cotton Kings traded two veterans yesterday and acquired one veteran and four players from winning teams.
Notes: Jeff Dewar (Season-Ending), Mathieu Paul (14-day), Derek Holland (14-day) and Steve Birch (14-day) are all on the injured reserve. Gerry Hickey is day-to-day since injuring himself against Bossier last Friday night.
Tickets are limited but still available for the game January 24 against the New Mexico Scorpions. Tickets can be picked up at Select-a-Seat locations or by calling 806.747.PUCK (7825).
