Cosmos 2015 Fall Season Schedule Announced

NEW YORK (January 20, 2015) - The North American Soccer League (NASL) and New York Cosmos today announced the 2015 Fall Season schedule. The Cosmos' 2015 Fall Season home opener will take place on Sunday, July 5 against Indy Eleven at Hofstra University's James M. Shuart Stadium.
"We've continued to make quality additions this offseason to strengthen our team," Cosmos head coach Giovanni Savarese said. "It's a long season and each game counts heavily towards our postseason chances so it's very important that the squad is deep."
The Cosmos will play 20 matches during the 2015 Fall Season - 10 games at home and 10 games on the road, while taking on each team in the league twice. The winner of the Fall Season, which will run through Saturday, October 31, will earn one of the top two seeds in The Championship, the league's four-team postseason tournament.
The Cosmos will close out the fall against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at home on Saturday, October 31. The kickoff times for the 2015 Spring Season and the Fall Season and full promotional schedules will be announced at a later date.
