Corning Bulldogs announce first tryout camp

May 9, 2007 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Corning Bulldogs News Release

Corning, NY. The ABA Corning Bulldogs professional basketball team that begins play in November has announced that it will hold its first tryout camp on Saturday, June 9th from 6-9pm. The tryout camp will be held at Waterloo High School, 96 Stark Street, Waterloo, New York.

A $125 non-refundable fee is required for participating in the tryout and must be submitted along with a tryout application.

According to James R. Schutz, team co-owner and GM, "Most expansion teams want to come in and just be a competitive team in the ABA. That is simply not good enough for us. We want to contend for the ABA title in year one. I am working round the clock to make sure that we field the most talented core of former college Division I players of any team in the ABA. These tryout camps starting on June 9th is for my staff and me to take a long hard look at finding the best players to surround the super-star talent which we will be fielding and to add great depth to the teams roster. If you live in the New York State area and believe you have a great basketball talent, then June 9th is the tryout camp for you."
