
Cook, Huerta and Lavelle Named to USWNT 23-Player Roster for April Friendlies against Uzbekistan

SEATTLE, WA - OL Reign players Alana Cook, Sofia Huerta and Rose Lavelle have been called up to the United States Women's National Team roster for two friendly matches Uzbekistan. This is the first time that the two teams are meeting. The first match will take place on Saturday, April 9 at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio at 2:30 p.m. PT and the second will be played on Tuesday, April 12 at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.
Cook, who first debuted for the U.S. in November 2019, most recently played for the U.S. during the SheBelieves Cup. The center-back has seven caps with the U.S. Women's National Team.
Huerta was also called up for SheBelieves Cup. The defender has made ten appearances for the United States. She made her U.S. Women's National Team debut in September 2017, after previously playing for the Mexico Women's National Team.
Lavelle last played with the U.S. WNT during the SheBelieves Cup. Lavelle was also a part of the U.S. squad that earned a bronze medal at the 2020 Olympics Games in Tokyo last summer. The midfielder has 69 caps and 18 goals for the United States.
