
Conquest Cancel July 23rd Performance: Fans Offered Refunds

Albany, N.Y., June 11, 2004 â The Albany Conquest announced today (Friday) that they have cancelled the previously scheduled July 23rd Bon Jovi performance at the Pepsi Arena.
The Conquest also announced that anyone who purchased a Pick 4 Package, a special game ticket for the July 23rd performance or a full or partial season ticket after April 14th 2004 (the day the Conquest announced the Bon Jovi Performance) will be entitled to a full refund or a partial credit at the purchaser's option.
"We are sorry to disappoint our fans but circumstances have forced the cancellation of this event even though Bon Jovi was prepared to perform on that date," stated Conquest GM Robert Zeig. "Those fans who bought tickets hoping to see Bon Jovi perform can redeem them, and we will provide a partial credit or full and complete refund at their option."
Fans seeking a refund are asked to please return their unused Conquest /Bon Jovi tickets to the point of purchase prior to July 23. A partial refund will be offered to those who remain season ticket holders or attend the July 23rd game. Details regarding partial refunds will be provided at a later date.
Out of town tickets holders who purchased tickets thru the Pepsi Arena Box Office, can mail in a request for refunds which must also be postmarked by July 23rd. All those seeking refunds must return tickets to point of purchase prior to July 23rd at 5:00 P. M. There will be no refunds issued after the July 23rd deadline.
"The Conquest Concert series is designed to provide added value to our ticket holders and to introduce new fans to the fun and excitement of Arena football. This season long entertainment package is our way of saying thanks to our fans for supporting the team this season." stated Zeig. "We plan to continue to provide quality entertainment for the residents of the Capital region."
The next home game of the Conquest is on Friday June 18th at 7:30 pm against the Wilkes-Barre Scranton Pioneers. At that contest, the classic rock band, The Blue Oyster Cult, will perform at half time and provide fans with a full concert for 1 hour after the game.
