
Connecticut Sun to Face New York Liberty in 2023 WNBA Semifinals

Uncasville, CT - The Connecticut Sun return to the WNBA Semifinals for the fifth consecutive season, taking on the No. 2 seed New York Liberty in a best-of-five series beginning Sunday, September 24. The Connecticut Sun defeated the No. 6 seed Minnesota Lynx in Round 1 of the WNBA playoffs, 2-1, while the New York Liberty defeated the No. 7 seed Washington Mystics, 2-0. The winner of this series will advance to the WNBA Finals to face either the No. 1 seed Las Vegas Aces or No. 4 seed Dallas Wings.
The Liberty will host Games 1 and 2 the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. Game 1 will be played at 1:00 PM ET on Sunday, September 24 and Game 2 will be played at 8:00 PM ET on Tuesday, September 26 at 8:00 PM ET. The Sun will host Game 3 on Friday, September 29 at 7:30 PM ET at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT. If necessary, Game 4 would also be played in Uncasville on Sunday, October 1 at 3:00 PM ET and Game 5 would be played in Brooklyn on Tuesday, October 3 at a time yet to be determined.
